Removal requests
Last updated October 30, 2026
Members can add images to their leagues: emotes in chat, art on their team’s court, their own avatar, and pictures of the players on their team. If something on Circled Hoops shouldn’t be there, tell us here. You don’t need an account. Members can also report an image from inside the app.
What you can ask us to remove
- An intimate image of you shared without your consent, real or computer-made. We remove it, and any copies we find, within 48 hours of your request.
- Your copyrighted work, such as a logo, photo or artwork used without permission. Tell us what the work is and where it appears.
- A picture of you (or of someone you represent, such as a player you are the agent for) used without permission. Tell us where it appears.
- Anything else that breaks our Terms: harassment, hate, violence or sexual content.
How we handle a request
Every request comes straight to our inbox. We may take content down while we look into it. If a request is about a crime against a child, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as the law requires. You can also write to us at [email protected].
We aim to act on copyright notices and pictures of people used without permission within 2 business days, and on intimate images within 48 hours. When we remove an image, we tell the member who added it.
Copyright notices (DMCA)
Circled Hoops is run by Purplelink LLC, which has a designated agent for copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), registered with the U.S. Copyright Office:
Copyright Agent, Purplelink LLC8735 Dunwoody Place #12398, Atlanta, GA 30350, USA
Phone: (470) 762-9850
Email: [email protected]
The form below sends a notice to this agent. A notice by email or post must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- where the material is on Circled Hoops, in enough detail for us to find it (a link is best);
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
A notice that knowingly misrepresents infringement can make the sender liable for damages (§ 512(f)).
If we removed your image
If an image you added was removed after a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake or the work was misidentified, you can send a counter-notice to the agent above. It must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- what was removed and where it appeared before;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the U.S., any district where Purplelink LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.
We send a copy to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may put the image back.
Repeat infringers
We keep a count of upheld copyright notices for each account. After three, the account can no longer add images of any kind, and we may close it. Other images it added may also be removed.
